my pregnancy: 22 weeks

22 weeks half way there and I am still feeling good. I had my OB appointment today and I am weighing in at 204LBS and baby`s heart rate is 145s.. IPS test, ultra sound screening for anatomy came back positive and healthy.

Congratulations! Ive hit the halfway mark in my pregnancy.

How your baby's growing:

Your baby weighs about 10 1/2 ounces now. He's also around 6 1/2 inches long from head to bottom and about 10 inches from head to heel — the length of a banana. (For the first 20 weeks, when a baby's legs are curled up against his torso and hard to measure, measurementsare taken from the top of his head to his bottom — the "crown to rump" measurement. After 20 weeks, he's measured from head to toe.)

He's swallowing more these days, which is good practice for his digestive system. He's also producing meconium, a black, sticky by-product of digestion. This gooey substance will accumulate in his bowels, and you'll see it in his first soiled diaper (some babies pass meconium in the womb or during delivery).

I had my anatomy ultrasound + gender on Monday.  The appointment went very well the tech was very throual and ensured that she got great measurements of baby # 4.  During the exam she walked me through and pointed out every body part she also went on to tell me what she was measuring, what the DR`s want.  I’ve been through to this 3 times and this is the only time I got a throual anatomy scan.  I usually get, there is the head, feet, heart, toes etc.. This tech was awesome.  Below you find some pics of baby #4.  Enjoy;

Hope Miranda

When I was a little girl growing up I always loved the name HOPE. After having two boys I knew that I wasn’t going to be able to use the name so I gave up.  My sister Paula had a baby girl and she allowed me to name her, so I did;  Baylee Hope.  When I was pregnant with Emma I loved the name but I wanted Matthew to name his first baby.  Here I am pregnant again for the fourth time and although I gave names previously I keep going to HOPE.  I really love this name.  So I don’t know, baby #4 if a girl could be named Hope.  Stay Tuned…

all is measuring where its suppose to be, baby`s heart rate is 150 and I am weighing in at 200lbs
