congratulations! you're gonna be a dad again!

Today I told daddy, you’re going to be a DAD again.

A few weeks ago I found out I was pregnant.  So this morning at 4:12am I told Matthew ``I’m Pregnant``, his response was SURE, so I responded to that, we`ll, I guess we will see in a few months.  I guess that made him believe me, because then he said `COOL`.   When Matthew and I met we planned to have a family, two kids and he knew with my age that I am not getting younger so this had to happen back to back.  I will give him some time, than I guess we will talk about it.

first doctor’s appointment

I had my first doctor’s appointment yesterday (Friday the 25^th) which was a lot less informative than I expected.  My pregnancy was confirmed by my doctor.  According to my doctor, Dr. Percy (my GP), I am just over 6 weeks along, but we are unsure of the date since I can’t remember when my last period was.  I told Dr. Percy that I had some spotting on April 12^th but it was not the full monty, so to determine that dates, he gave me a requisition to go for an ultrasound.  YEAH!  I get to see my little peanut.  This ultrasound will determine how far along I am, and when baby number 4 will arrive.  I did all the major blood work that is required; no PAP is needed as I just had one back in March.  Dr. Percy referred me to my previous OBGYN Dr. Fiona McConville.  I wouldn’t have it any other way.

May 22, 2012 Positive pregnancy test

I’m pregnant with my fourth child, just seven months after giving birth to daughter Emma!  Holy cow, I’m going to have another baby. How cool is that?

happy mother's day 2 me

Happy Mother’s Day, so here is my mommy’s day; it started with a good morning from Joshua and Emma.  Unfortunately Joshua was unable to join us as he had a scrimmage for football. 

Jace, Emma and I had lunch at Swiss Chalet which he paid for all by himself.  Below you will see a gift from Jace to me; 

 

Once we finished our lunch the kids and I went to the football field to spend the day with Joshua, but of course I had to stop at Starbucks for my Grande Cinnamon Dolce Latte;

Mother’s Day isn’t over yet, Matthew comes home and present me with these; aww too cute.
